Plantain, clover, ground ivy, dollarweed — many of you will be looking for ways to control these tough turf pests. For those looking for a convenient granular option, try
LockUp® specialty herbicide.

LockUp provides superior postemergence control at extremely low use rates (0.02 to 0.06 pound of active ingredient per acre) when compared with current products, and shows increased efficacy compared with other herbicide options. It also can be applied to warm- and cool-season turf. For optimal results, apply LockUp to moist foliage.
It is available in two- and three-way formulations — penoxsulam plus dicamba for use in the South; and a combination of penoxsulam, dicamba and 2,4-D for use in the North.

Additionally, the active ingredient, penoxsulam, was accepted for review and registration under the Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is absorbed via leaves, shoots and roots, and begins to work immediately by translocating throughout the entire plant to achieve complete control.
State restrictions on the sale and use of LockUp apply. Consult the labels of products containing LockUp before purchase or use for full details. Always read and follow label directions.
